As part of Science Week at the University of Innovation and Digital Technologies of Tajikistan, a scientific-theoretical conference for faculty members and students on the results of research work in 2025 and tasks for 2026 was held.
The section on the State Language and Modern Foreign Languages, as one of the key sections of the conference, started its work on April 21, 2026. The section was led by the Head of the Department of State Language and Modern Foreign Languages, F.S. Mirzoeva, and the secretary was the department’s teacher, R.R. Khakimova.
During the session, 13 reports by faculty members and 13 reports by master's students and undergraduates were presented. Among them, 8 reports by faculty members and 8 reports by students were discussed and analyzed in scientific debate.
For example, the report by Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences O.O. Orifzoda on the topic "Effectiveness of Using Linguistic Case Studies (Bundles) in Developing Students’ Speech Competence" was presented, and participants expressed their thoughts and opinions on it. Simultaneously, department faculty members F.S. Mirzoeva, Sh. Shomadov, H. Abdullozoda, Sh. Hasani, R. Khakimova, R. Khomatova, and D. Salomati gave detailed presentations.
Students, including B. Sharipova, M. Rahimova, Mastura Abdulhamidzoda, Fotima Azimova, Abubakr Shamsov, Qosimkhujja Alisher, Manuchehr Farkhunda, Muhammad Faizov, and others, also made interesting presentations that were scientifically discussed.
At the conclusion of the session, the best reports were selected as follows: 1) Sh. Shomadov (faculty); 2) Sh. Hasani (faculty); 3) R. Khomatova (faculty); and the best student reports were: 1) B. Sharipova, 3rd-year student, specialty 1-210601; 2) F. Azimova, 2nd-year student, specialty 1-210601; and 3) Sh. Nazarov, 1st-year student, specialty 1-25010410. The section work was held in an academic atmosphere, and in the era of digital education, many interesting and relevant topics regarding the use of artificial intelligence in language teaching were discussed. Faculty and students actively participated in the discussion and made valuable suggestions.
At the end of the event, it was emphasized that organizing such conferences plays an essential role in strengthening scientific cooperation, developing critical thinking, and raising the scientific knowledge of young people.
