On April 21, 2026, the University of Innovation and Digital Technologies of Tajikistan hosted an academic-theoretical university-wide conference on the topic of "Non-Cash Settlements and Their Importance in the Development of the Country's Financial and Banking System." This event was part of a series of activities dedicated to Science Week and the announcement of 2025–2030 as the "Years of Digital Economy and Innovation Development."
The conference was attended by the Vice-Rector for Science and Digital Development, PhD in History (Physics field), Associate Professor Sobir Qurbon Isodzoda, Dean of the Faculty of Digital Economics and Finance, PhD in Economics, Acting Associate Professor Bahodur Khayriddinovich Asoev, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, PhD in Economics Navruz Abdurahmon Hisainzoda, Head of the Department of "Finance Management", PhD in Economics, Acting Associate Professor Saidjon Murodmadovitch Akimov, as well as faculty members and students.
The conference was opened by the Head of the Department of "Finance Management," Saidjon Murodmadovitch Akimov, who introduced the working program. Following that, the Vice-Rector for Science and Digital Development, Sobir Qurbon Isodzoda, delivered the opening speech. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of the selected topic and the role of non-cash settlements in modern conditions. He evaluated the organization of such academic events as crucial for strengthening scientific and research activities. Additionally, specific recommendations were given to the relevant authorities to further enhance scientific activities at the university.
The conference program included several scientific reports by researchers and professors. Among them, reports by Bahodur Khayriddinovich Asoev on "Characteristics of Green Economy Management Development," Navruz Abdurahmon Hisainzoda on "Financial Entrepreneurship and Its Role in National Economic Development," and Ismoil Subhonqulovich Valiev on "Role and Importance of Non-Cash Settlements in the Development of the National Financial System" were presented to the participants.
During the discussion of the topics, fruitful scientific debates took place among the participants, focusing on key issues of the development of the country’s financial and banking system, the expansion of non-cash payments, and the implementation of digital technologies.
At the conclusion of the conference, it was emphasized that such scientific forums contribute to enhancing professional knowledge, developing analytical thinking, and strengthening the scientific potential of both faculty and students. Overall, these events lay a foundation for advancing state policy in the field of digital economy and innovation development.
