Science, as one of the fundamental pillars of human civilization, has played a key role throughout history, with various nations contributing significantly to its development. The Tajik people, with their ancient history and rich culture, hold a special place in the advancement of world science. Tajik scholars and thinkers from ancient times to the present have made remarkable contributions in fields such as medicine, mathematics, philosophy, literature, and astronomy.
In order to honor the scientific and spiritual heritage of ancestors and to promote scientific thinking, according to the resolution of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, the third Sunday of April is celebrated as the Day of Tajik Science.
In this context, the Tajik University of Innovation and Digital Technologies held Science Week from April 20 to April 25, 2026. A series of scientific events were organized, including scientific-theoretical conferences, seminars, and round tables, where key issues of science and innovation development were discussed.
According to the approved program, the responsible organizers presented reports on the achieved results, and the scientific achievements and research activities of professors, lecturers, and students were analyzed.
At the conclusion of Science Week, by the Rector’s Order No. 43-u dated April 27, 2026, winners of national and international competitions and olympiads were awarded certificates of honor. In addition, several active lecturers were recognized with appreciation letters for their significant contribution to scientific development.
Science Week at the university was regarded as an important platform for exchanging ideas, presenting scientific achievements, and strengthening scientific cooperation, playing a significant role in enhancing the prestige of science and engaging youth in research activities.
