The DECIDE Erasmus+ project will contribute to the realization of the right of people with special needs in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan to receive education and participate in society.
The project aims to combat discrimination and raise awareness and tolerance in society in accordance with the Bologna Process and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
As part of the project, each educational institution will introduce a specialist task to ensure access for the disabled. This will be accompanied by a National Awareness Day on the Special Needs of each Partner Country (SP), organized by national strategic working groups consisting of key stakeholders: universities, institutes of public administration, ministries and non-governmental organizations.
By implementing eight modules of the introductory and advanced DECIDE course, the project will promote regional integration and cooperation between the various regions of these Central Asian countries. This is achieved through joint initiatives, the exchange of best practices, and collaboration to enhance competencies and skills in higher education institutions and society through the development of new innovative educational programs.
