The opening of Science Week was held with great ceremony at the University of Innovation and Digital Technologies of Tajikistan. In the Republic of Tajikistan, Science Week is held annually as an important scientific and educational event aimed at showcasing scientific achievements, fostering research thinking, and engaging young people in scientific activities.

In order to implement state policy in the fields of science and education, a series of events are organized during this week in scientific institutions and higher education establishments across the country, including conferences, seminars, round tables, exhibitions of scientific achievements, and various competitions.

According to the university administration’s plan and within the framework of celebrating Tajik Science Day, which is observed annually in the third week of April, the opening session of a scientific-theoretical conference involving faculty members and students was held on April 20, 2026.

The conference was dedicated to summarizing the results of research activities for 2025 and defining tasks for 2026. It also focused on the implementation of national initiatives, including the declaration of 2025–2030 as the “Years of Digital Economy and Innovation Development,” the 20th anniversary of the development of natural, mathematical, and exact sciences (2020–2040), and the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the opening session, the results of the university’s scientific activities for 2025 were analyzed, and three scientific reports were presented and discussed.

According to the conference program, from April 21 to 24, 298 scientific papers are scheduled to be presented across 9 sections. The program also includes online Olympiads, round tables, and other scientific events.

Science Week serves as an important platform for the exchange of ideas and the presentation of scientific achievements, contributing to the strengthening of intellectual capacity and the sustainable development of society.
