On April 7, 2026, a meeting was held in Dushanbe between the Director of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ambassador – Head of the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Tajikistan, Radoslav Darski.

During the meeting, the parties discussed key issues related to the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of the digital economy, the implementation of modern technologies, and the expansion of digital infrastructure.

Particular attention was paid to the implementation of projects carried out in the Republic of Tajikistan with the support of the European Union.

In particular, the activities of ongoing projects such as “C4CA” and “CIVIT Registry” were highly appreciated.

It was noted that these initiatives make a significant contribution to the development of digital infrastructure and the system of state information resources, creating a solid foundation for improving public administration.

At the same time, the parties discussed the process of preparing a cooperation agreement with the e-Governance Academy and emphasized that the signing of this document would enable the effective adoption of advanced European experience and expertise in the field of e-governance.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and implement joint projects in the field of digitalization of the economy and public administration.
