On August 20, 2026, an August education conference of education sector employees of Khatlon Province was held in the conference hall of the Executive Body of State Authority of Khatlon Province.

The conference was attended by Rahim Saidzoda, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan; Davlatali Said, Chairman of Khatlon Province; deputy chairmen of the province; chairpersons of cities and districts; the leadership of the Khatlon Regional Department of Education; heads and staff of education departments and divisions; education sector veterans; teachers; and other responsible officials.

The August conference focused on reviewing the results of the 2025–2026 academic year, assessing the achievements of students and teachers, and identifying the key priorities and tasks for the education sector of the province in the new academic year.
