With the aim of strengthening constructive cooperation and exploring new opportunities in the development of digital technologies, a delegation of representatives of the “Foundations of Digitalization of Tajikistan” Project visited the Tajikistan University of Innovation and Digital Technologies on August 13, 2026.

During the visit, the guests familiarized themselves with the University’s material and technical facilities, educational and laboratory capacities, as well as the conditions established for training specialists in the field of digital technologies. The project representatives also met with the University’s academic and teaching staff and learned about its educational and research activities and the main areas of training digital professionals.

As part of the visit, a meeting was held between the University’s management and the visiting delegation. The meeting focused on initiatives under the “Foundations of Digitalization of Tajikistan” Project, including the development of digital public infrastructure, strengthening cybersecurity, and enhancing the professional preparedness of specialists in priority areas of digitalization.

The parties emphasized that the rapid development of digital technologies requires further strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions and development partners, creating favorable conditions for training competitive specialists, developing professional skills, and implementing modern digital initiatives.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue mutually beneficial cooperation, strengthen institutional ties, and implement new initiatives in the field of digitalization.

The visit marked an important step toward expanding cooperation between the Tajikistan University of Innovation and Digital Technologies and development partners, creating favorable conditions for the further development of the educational, research, and professional capacity of the digital technology sector.
