With the aim of enhancing national self-awareness, strengthening patriotic spirit, fostering respect for the history and culture of ancestors, and educating young people in the spirit of reverence for national values, an educational and patriotic event entitled “Youth — Guardians of National Values and Builders of the Country’s Future” was held at the Tajikistan University of Innovation and Digital Technologies.
The event was opened by Qubod Turaev, a representative of the Department of Educational Affairs, who spoke about the role of young people in preserving national values, honoring the spiritual heritage of their ancestors, and contributing to the progress and prosperity of the country.
It was noted that culture and spirituality are among the key factors in shaping an individual’s character and promoting societal development. Preserving the national language, history, traditions, and customs is particularly important for strengthening national identity and ensuring continuity between generations. In this regard, young people, as a constructive force and successors to national traditions, have a responsibility to study and preserve the spiritual values inherited from their ancestors and pass them on to future generations.
During the event, students delivered informative presentations on the following topics: “National Culture and Universal Values in the Modern Era,” “The Spiritual Heritage of Our Ancestors — A Guiding Light for Present-Day Generations,” and “Returning the Remains of Tajik Heroes to Their Homeland — Reviving Historical Memory and Honoring the Nation’s Spiritual Heritage.”
The presentations addressed issues related to the preservation and appreciation of historical and cultural heritage, respect for national symbols and sacred values, honoring the heroic deeds of distinguished sons and daughters of the nation, and the responsibility of young people toward their homeland.
It was emphasized that educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, national self-awareness, and respect for spiritual values constitutes one of the essential foundations for strengthening national statehood and ensuring the sustainable development of society.
At the conclusion of the event, participants highlighted the importance of organizing such educational gatherings in enhancing young people’s knowledge, political and legal awareness, and national consciousness.
The event was held in an educational and patriotic atmosphere and contributed to strengthening a sense of responsibility, fostering respect for national values, and inspiring pride in the rich history and cultural heritage of the Tajik people.
