On 16 July 2026, the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan held a press conference during which the Agency's leadership presented the results of its activities for the first half of 2026 and outlined the priority areas for the further development of the sector.
The press conference focused on key issues related to the digitalization of public services, the development of digital infrastructure, the adoption of artificial intelligence technologies, and the strengthening of human capital in the digital sector.
It was noted that, in close cooperation with relevant ministries and government agencies, the Agency is implementing a comprehensive set of measures aimed at expanding the range of public services available in electronic format, enhancing digital platforms, introducing modern information management systems, and ensuring greater transparency in public service delivery.
Particular attention was also given to attracting investment, supporting startup initiatives, fostering the national innovation ecosystem, and strengthening international cooperation in the fields of digital technologies and innovation.
In conclusion, it was emphasized that the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan will continue to effectively implement the state policy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the areas of digital transformation and innovation, while undertaking practical measures to create a favorable environment for the sustainable development of the national economy.
