Then, the rector of the institute, Honorable Shohiyon Almossho Nabot, addressed the audience, congratulating them on the occasion of the Foundation Day of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan. He recalled the history and establishment of this crucial institution and expressed the following thoughts:

The country's Armed Forces were created under extremely difficult and sensitive economic, military, and political conditions—at a time when the country was engulfed in war and bloodshed, lawlessness and anarchy, and a severe economic crisis. During that period, all governmental structures and authorities were paralyzed, and the threat of the destruction of the young Tajik state and the disintegration of the Tajik nation arose. However, under the wise leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, the Armed Forces were established and have now become a powerful force and a guarantor of peace and stability.

Despite the extremely difficult and sensitive situation in newly independent Tajikistan at that time, the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, utilized all available resources to strengthen the country's defense capabilities, enhance combat readiness, improve service and living conditions, develop the material and technical foundations, and further improve the social conditions of military personnel.

Overall, the 32 years of productive activity of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan have demonstrated that our beloved homeland possesses a strong national army, with devoted soldiers and officers in whom the government places great trust. The national and patriotic spirit that the Head of State, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, has instilled since the early days of his leadership—being a shining example himself—has today embraced not only the soldiers and officers of the Armed Forces but the entire patriotic Tajik nation.

During the continuation of the event, honorary professor of the institute and Chairman of the Committee on Work with Internationalist Veterans of the City and Kulob Region, Bakhtiyor Rahmonov, participant of the historic 16th session of the Supreme Council, retired Colonel Musoev Abdulmumin, humanitarian warrior Odinaev Safar, and Saidov Abdullo shared their views on serving in the ranks of the Armed Forces. They emphasized that young people must never forget that today, the protection of the borders and territory of our independent Tajikistan is primarily entrusted to brave and courageous youth. The Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, constantly reminds us that all citizens, both young and old, must always remember that in today’s complex and ever-changing world, safeguarding the most sacred and greatest value—independence and freedom—is not an easy task. Defending this priceless treasure requires continuous effort, national dignity, sincere and dedicated work, and, most importantly, unity and solidarity. Therefore, in the current complex and sensitive global situation, we must always stand by the Leader of the Nation and support each other.

At the end of the event, by order of the institute’s rector, several humanitarian warriors and restorers of the constitutional order were awarded certificates of honor in recognition of their high sense of patriotism and national identity, loyal and dedicated service to the Motherland, and active participation in educating the youth in the spirit of patriotism and self-awareness.
